ALT Codes. This is a list I put together of “special” symbols that can be used in almost any program, online, etc. In many instances, there is more than one way of doing the same thing.
To do this, hold the ALT key on your keyboard down, then type in the number ON THE NUMBER PAD. (It does not work using the numbers above the letters).
Where some symbols have a number separated by a comma (,) it’s because there is more than one ‘code’ that will do the same thing. You just need to type one corresponding number or the other (not both, just choose one)
example: To get “º”(degree symbol), hold the ALT key down, type 167, let go of ALT key and the º symbol will appear. If you have any questions, just leave comment.
